From the CEO

As you read this, construction workers and hospital staff members are putting the finishing touches on the new Texoma Medical Center. It's a project that's been years in the making: We've watched the construction site at US Highway 75 and State Road 691 evolve from a series of steel beams to the modern building you see now. And the process has been nothing short of tremendous.
I've been the CEO of Texoma Medical Center for just over seven years and on the TMC Board of Directors for over 20, so I have a strong personal connection to the "old" TMC. However, communities grow. We anticipate that the population of this region will double by 2030, so it's become necessary for us to grow, too.
The new TMC is a building fit for the 21st century, with more room for patients, advanced technology, ease of access and the same wonderful care you've come to expect from the physicians, nurses and other staff members.
What's more, we want you to feel at home here, so we've included special perks to make you feel that way. This includes things like leather couches, flat-screen televisions and all-private patient rooms -- complete with room service!
Building this new hospital is about more than providing great healthcare. We also expect the new hospital will help the area in a broader sense: It will create jobs, raise property values and improve the overall economy.
Above all, we're building this hospital for you. This is your hospital.
We're scheduled to officially move patients to the new TMC on Dec. 27, just over a month from now. However, I'd like to personally invite you to come take a look before that. Please join us at a ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception for the new TMC on Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 2 pm. After that, we'll be running free tours of the hospital until 7 pm.
Please read on to learn more about the new TMC. We look forward to caring for your health there.
